Biography

Research interests:

  • Plankton ecology with a main emphasis on phytoplankton and zooplankton
  • The impact of changing sea ice conditions and associated effects on phytoplankton and ice algal communities
  • Ecosystem structure and energy flow of Arctic marine food webs including fatty acid throphic markers and stable isotope studies.
