PhD project title:
Diversity patterns of deep fjord macrobenthic communities and their response to organic enrichment from aquaculture.
PhD project description:
The project is dedicated to deep fjord macrobenthic communities of Norwegian sub-Arctic fjords. It addresses deep basin benthos composition, spatial patterns and functional diversity in relation to environment. The second part of the project assesses whether fish farms contribute to the organic matter pool in the deep basins of fjords and whether it represents a major food source for benthos.
