ARCTOS member S\u00fcnnje Basedow is the research project leader of the new project Stressor<\/a>, together with Meng Zhou from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. Stressor is a Norwegian-Chinese collaborative research project in which they look at mesoscale eddies and how they affect the formation of zooplankton swarms. It is financed by the National Science Foundation of China and the Norwegian Research Council, and runs from 2019 to 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are currently on their first cruise to the Lofoten area and you can follow their activity here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
