Adriana has been working on ‘Biomonitoring and risk assessment tools to manage the impact of diesel oil in tropical coastal habitats’ and the defense is taking place at 12:15 in Auditorium 1.022 in the Technology building at UiT. Her trial lecture is entitled ‘Current use of biomarkers in contamination monitoring’ and will take place at 10:15, same location.<\/p>\n
Allison’s thesis is entitled ‘The fate of a key Arctic copepod in future ocean acidification: Integrating molecular, organismal, and evolutionary thinking in the face of climate change’. The defense is taking place at 12:15 in Perspektivet auditorium in Handelsh\u00f8gskolen at UiT. The topic of her trial lecture is ‘Demonstrating local adaptation and evolution of tolerance to acidification and hypercapnia in long-lived zooplankton’ and will be presented at 10:15, same place.<\/p>\n
Julie has also been working with zooplankton, focussing on ‘Understanding winter patterns of zooplankton Diel Vertical Migration (DVM) in a high Arctic fjord (Kongsfjorden, Svalbard)’. She will defend her thesis at 12:15 in Store Auditorium in the NFH building at UiT. Her trial lecture is entitled ‘Shedding light on Arctic zooplankton behavior’ and will take place at 10:15, same location.<\/p>\n
