ARCTOS Seminar

We have an ARCTOS seminar coming up on Wednesday the 27th of August at UiT room D-112 (Norges firskerihøgskole) and via the Teams link below.
We will hear from PhD candidate Victor Gonzalez Triginer (UNIS) on his PhD thesis:
“Ecological transitions in Arctic marine ecosystems: Macroalgal settlement, pelagic density, and fish community shifts associated with glacier retreat and Atlantification.”
Biography:
Victor is finalizing his PhD at the Department of Arctic Biology (UNIS) within the EU FACE-IT project. In his PhD, he has studied the impacts of glacier retreat and Atlantification on Arctic marine ecosystems, focusing on macroalgal settlement, pelagic density and fish community shifts. He has also focused on using sustainable, non-invasive research methods such as hydroacoustics and autonomous remote vehicles.
